Eyewitnesses reported that the rocket appeared to have been launched from the hills, with the museum likely being the intended target.The victim, a member of the Meitei community, suffered fatal injuries from shrapnel that struck his head, resulting in a tragic scene as blood spilled onto the ground amidst his prayer offerings of leaves and fruit.
