Manipur is witnessing a surge in violence, with new attacks reported in Jiribam just a day after a bomb incident in Bishnupur district. On Friday, a 70-year-old man lost his life, and at least five others sustained injuries due to improvised rockets fired at villages from nearby hills.These recent assaults follow a troubling pattern, as earlier this week, two individuals were killed, and several others were injured when crude bombs were dropped from drones on villages in Imphal West.
